VBC Team Update
Hi VBC Nation,
Greetings from Kansas City, Missouri, where our VBC Directors are getting ready to watch the NCAA volleyball Final Four this evening. There will be some great matches to catch on ESPN, and we encourage you to have your kids tune in and enjoy some high level volleyball. Back home, with all of our teams now training and competing, we are proud of the way our athletes are representing SPORTIME VBC. Please see below for this week’s important updates.
VBC Boys
Our Boys Elite and Middle School teams had a strong showing at the AAU Snow Ball Slam in Lancaster, PA. Congratulations to 17-1 Boys for finishing second in the 17 Open Division, and to 17-2 Boys for finishing second in the 17 Classic Division. We are proud of all of our teams who competed. You can view all results here: Snowball results
This weekend, our Boys Quogue teams will be on the road at the Wicked Good Challenge in Providence, Rhode Island and at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. We wish them safe travels and a great weekend of competition.
VBC Girls
Great job to our girls teams that competed in the Power League Play In this weekend.
- 14 Black went 2-1 overall and 5-3 in sets
- 15 Black went 3-0 overall and 6-1 in sets
- 16 Black went 1-3 overall and 3-6 in sets
- 17 Black went 2-1 overall and 3-2 in sets
We are proud of the way all four teams battled through their pools and represented SPORTIME VBC.
That is all for now. Thanks for being part of SPORTIME VBC, and have a great week.
Sincerely,
Your VBC Directors
